Swim Jigs: A New Revolution In Fishing
Every year there are a slew of new baits that flood the market, each trying to be innovative in their' own unique way. However, nearly two years ago, a new innovative bait hit the market, swim jigs. Immediately their success became apparent, as in the first FLW Tour event of 06' more than half of the Top 10 finishers were fishing this new bait, the swim jig.
What makes it so popular? Well, for one, it is more versatile than your spinner bait. This bait can be fished around wood, grass, and rocks or even burned across the surface to trigger those aggressive strikes without getting caught up nearly at all. This makes for less headaches and more time spent fishing throughout the day. It has an action and puts off a vibration that no other lure is capable of duplicating, which is the reason for its success.
